John Wesley Shenberger

John Wesley Shenberger, 44, of Ashland, OH, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026. John was born September 1981 in Finlay, OH to Tom and Kim (Lafferty) Shenberger. John graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelor of Arts in English.

He married Beth Buchanan-Hogue in the spring of 2006. John worked for Ahola for nearly 7 years as their Human Resources manager. John enjoyed beautifying his home and listening to music. Above all, John cherished time with his family and valued his friendships.

John will be deeply missed by his wife; children Elliott, Madelyn, Anne; parents Tom and Kim of Ashland, OH; brothers Jake and Sam; Grandmother Joan Lafferty.

Calling hours will be hosted at Roberts Funeral Home, 1058 US 250 N, Ashland, OH 44805 on Wednesday, February 25, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Funeral services officiated by Pastor Ben Roby will start at 6:00pm and streamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/John-Shenberger. A meal will be hosted at Heritage Baptist Church immediately following the service. A private burial will be held at a later date for family.
