Just found out on John's passing. So sorry Linda. I taught with John at the citadel in 1979 to 1981and was a close friend. He was the BEST at everything he participated in.

What a loss! Not just to his loved ones, relatives, his friends but those who knew John. Always impeccably dressed, John was kind and caring.Never meet a stranger. He was a man of men and the world would be a better place with more men like John Shields. God Bless.
