John D. Shipley

John Shipley was an amazing Singer with a smooth deep Baritone voice.
He also played bass in our band, THE WILDWOOD EXPRESS. Here are some promo photos:

During High School, John and I sang together in Concert Choir we both graduated from La Quinta HS in 1969. Then played and sang in a band, recorded records, performed in night clubs, and at Knotts Berry Farm several times. John Shared the gospel of Jesus Christ with me all through High School and College. The seeds he planted finally bore fruit a few years later... in 1973 I was saved and became a "born again" Christian.

Being a classmate in 2nd grade at Newhope Elementary in Santa Ana, Ca. We remained classmates until our 1969 graduation from LaQuinta High School. John was a dear friend, always.
