John Sigrist Obituary

John David Sigrist

Dave was born in Akron Ohio to John and Mary Sigrist. The oldest of three boys he was a adventurer from a early age. He has a long list of things most people never achieve in two or three lifetimes. From living in Hawaii to a black belt in karate. Dave did things like no other in passion. Racing cars, flying airplanes, having a camera man on the back of a BMW motorcycle. His abilities extend as far out as a river guide and wilderness first aide responder. He retired in Grand Junction Colorado as a fire protection specialist.

He enjoyed Dancing at the Moose lodge and was lifetime member of the Elks.

Avid hiker of the Colorado National Monument and surrounding area. Dave did a couple 14ers as they are called. He leaves behind a large family of grandkids and his wife Judy, son Chris and step children Nathan and Cody.

Dave will be missed with that smile, and casual attitude that can ease any troubled mind.

A great man indeed

He will always be Super Dave to his fellow river rats. So sorry to his family. May your memories sustain you.
