"John-John" ( as us Eddy's called him ) was one of the kindest and truest friend I have been blessed with in this life. Growing up on Ulena Street in SW Philly, we had some great times from building Igloo's on the street when we were hit with snow in the winter, to playing "Kick the Can" & "Hide and Seek", getting Water Ice and Pretzels, Mister Softee ice cream and opening Fire Hydrants to cool off in the Summer months to Dancing in the Street when the Flyers won ( Thanks to neighbor Mr. Rucci for kicking that fun off ) and other great times that were the best of our lives. Such great group of people in that area and John-John was my "Archie Bunker" as we both loved the show, but he had that "old school" way in innocent form that many of us loved and cherished about him. He was a loyal and true friend and had the best laugh and smile ( especially when I would make him blush and drive him crazy! ;-) ) and a heart bigger then anyone I knew. I thank God for a friend like John-John and all the wonderful times we had growing up. We ket in touch even though my family moved away and when I would see or talk on the phone to JJ, it was if a day hadn't passed, we picked up like best buddies and he was so easy to talk to and always could make me laugh and feel loved as he was a rare and special soul.
I know John John is in Heaven, surrounded by more peace, love and happiness that we can even comprehend here on earth and if WE are lucky we will see him again in Gods Kingdom. I know he is wrapped in the arms of Gods Angels along with his beloved parents that were taken also, too soon from us. Im sure if the Lord has the sense of humor "I hope" he does, John-John is sitting in a 4 leaf clover field next to a keg of Beer and hanging out having a few cold ones with my Dad, Jim, his Dad Frances and his close friends who have passed before him. ;-)
John took a piece of all our hearts with him. Im heartbroken over the loss of such a beautiful & honorable friend. LOVE YOU JOHN XO

I will forever remember that little blonde-haired boy who grew up to be a funny, kind hearted man who made everyone laugh with his quick wit. I am glad that John was part of my life and hope that he is at peace and with his Mom, who adored him. Thinking of all of you, Tommy, Carol Anne, F-Jay and Jeff. Love, Diane xo
