entered eternal rest on March 24, 2023, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of almost 62 years to Carolyn Spellman; cherished father of John P. Spellman, Tim Spellman, and Kelly (Kevin) Hosty; proud grandfather of Mitchell Hosty and Megan Hosty; dear brother of Debbie Stretch, Kathy Layton, and Pat Spellman; dearest cousin, uncle, and friend to many. John is preceded in death by his parents John P. and Dorothy Spellman as well as his sister Dorothy Church.
Services: Visitation will be held Tues. 3/28 from 4-8 p.m. at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral Home, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles, MO. 63304. Funeral Mass will take place Wed. 3/29 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Dardenne Chapel w/burial at Our Lady Catholic Cemtery. For full obituary see www.hutchensfuneralhomes.com
