John J. Spilker

I have many beautiful memories of Jack, from being welcomed in his home on Losantiville, to receiving blessings at family gatherings. One of my fondest memories of Jack is when I had my first home and found myself his neighbor. I was walking my dogs and stopped to watch him masterfully mortar a fieldstone wall. It was one of many projects I had witnessed, but the quietness of his work and the peace I felt being with him in that quiet resonates in me today.
