My Deepest Condolences to the Stack Family. I visited John and his wife at his home several years ago and had a great conversation. Since that visit my sister, her husband and myself corresponded regularly. John always sent some religious notes. I tried to find pictures of the past. He was a good friend to my mother while working at the Tailor Shop and after. With my mother passing, John wrote a lovely passage that was read at her wake, he was good with words. He will be missed.

Offering my deepest condolences to the Stack family. I remember running an Eli Lilly winter Golf league at the Golf Dome and working closely with John to organize this. John was an outstanding Christan man, and he and I had a wonderful professional repour with each other and lots of Indiana golf stories were told. He would do anything to help someone out that was going through a tough time. I remember during the years we had our golf league going and a bad ice storm hit that nearly brought down the Dome and his business was struggling with all these types of facility maintenance setbacks he told me about over many years. One night while playing in our winter golf league at the Dome my car got broken into and my company laptop was stolen along with some other personal valuable items. He was having a rash of car break-in's during this time and had signs posted everywhere that he was not responsible for anything stolen or damage to cars in his parking lot. I made out a police report with IPD with his full help and no recovery was ever made. I paid the cost to replace my broken window and ate the entire loss for the stolen personal items. Later at the end of the league he found out what loss I suffered and refunded all my entire league fees to help me out which he never had to do at all. Even though he was not doing well financially at that time and just had tens of thousands of dollars in damage to his Dome that year he still wanted to try and help me out and cared enough about this whole bad situation with this break-in. He was a special generous person with a big heart. He always was talking to me about what he was doing with the kids programs he was leading. I encouraged our Golf league members to make a donation to John at the end of the last week of our golf league which many did just that. I am sure this went a long way to help him out. What an awesome stand out guy he was. He will be missed for sure, but I know I will get to see him again when we all go to meet our lord and savior in heaven. Matthew 25:23 "His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."

John was President of the SAE fraternity at Monmouth College, when I was a pledge. John was a great guy and bigger than life. I remember visiting John at his parents' home in the Chicago area one weekend, along with some other fraternity brothers. We had a great time that weekend. I am sorry that John is no longer with us on this earth. Rest in peace Jerry

John was our neighbor in Homecroft for over 48 years. He had a larger than life, outgoing personality that would greet you and do anything to help others. Especially in sharing his flowers with others in the neighborhood. We will miss you "Big John".RIP.
Our heartfelt condolences to Cindy and Jonathan.
