John Staver

As a prior CC student and later a colleague who's classroom was across the hall from his at the elementary at one time, I remember him jokingly telling some of his Jr High boys to show me respect by kneeling when they addressed me. This was bc they were taller than my short stature. They actual did it! I also remember returning his classroom snake a time or two when it slithered into my classroom. Loved his laugh and he almost always had a smile.

I remember John as one of the Hazel Green gang.
