John had a thirty-year career in communications, beginning at Indiana Bell and ending with his retirement from US West in Denver, Colorado. We talked about some of the things John considered highlights of his life. Being a grandfather was at the top of the list. Also, every year, he looked forward to the September fishing trip to Rand, Colorado, with his buddies. The opportunity to work in Europe before he retired, along with the special friendships he formed there, were also on his list. John loved to build, fix, and restore. He was happiest when he had a project.
A special thank you to Ambercare for being there in our time of need.
It was John's wish that a celebration of his life be held at a later date.
Those wishing to remember John, may consider a donation to food bank or pet shelter of their choice.
