JOHN M STEG

Ali, Maureen and Darlene, I just learned today that John passed away. He sent me a email on June 7th and it sounded so "final" that it bothered me a great deal. Checking the internet today I learned about his death on June 8th. My prayers are with you as I know how much you helped him over the last several years. He always spoke highly of his sisters and he was very proud of his nieces and nephews. I always admired John for his "fighting spirit"...I frequently called him the "Energizer Bunny". Despite all of his serious health issues he continued to fight for better health. Now that he is gone to the other side I pray that he can finally have the "happiness" that was so denied him during most of his life. I will miss my dear friend and yes, I will hope to see him again "on the other side".

My thoughts and prayers for all the family during this difficult time. May God's peace and promise surround you knowing Johnny is pain free and smiling brightly!

I never had the opportunity to meet Johnny but have known his sisters Darlene and Maureen, his Uncle Gary, and his niece Theresa for many years. My deepest condolences and sympathies to his entire family, I know he was special to all of them and he will be missed. I hope it gives you much comfort knowing he is now in the arms of his Lord. I feel very sad. I remember Johnny as a very little boy. He spent a lot of time with his sister Maureen and both of them would come to my house while married to their uncle Jimmy.....I wish I woukd have known him in his adult years..however that just wasn't written in the cards.
