Dear Alana and family, Terry and I are deeply saddened upon hearing
of John's death. We have such fond memories with you and John at many
events throughout the years. He was always so kind and always gave me
encouragement in my work for the town and county. We will add John and you to our prayer list each day as we are sure he is now with the Lord

I had the privilege of working with Judge Sweeney when he was an Assistant District Attorney for PutnamCounty. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and we could see he had a successful career in the future. Funny and kind, a good man.
