Mr. John R. Teston

John R. Teston, 67, died August 24, 2010 at his residence. Born in Jacksonville, FL, he moved to Hobe Sound in 1992, coming from Merritt Island, FL. He was a retired Sales Representative for Kraft Foods, where he had worked for over 30 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hobe Sound, he served as a Trustee for the church and was a member of the United Methodist Men’s Fellowship. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, he received the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Debbie Teston of Hobe Sound; son, John Paul Teston of Hobe Sound; daughters, Jodie McGhee of Merritt Island; Lisa Jones of Titusville; brother, Jim Teston of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Linda Bergeron of Clearwater, FL; Carol Hughes of Round Rock, TX; and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Hobe Sound, 10100 SE Federal Highway, Hobe Sound, FL 33455. Memorial Services will be held 1PM, Saturday, September 11, 2010, at First United Methodist Church of Hobe Sound with Pastor Marcus Zillman officiating and military honors by U. S. Air Force.
