Pat Trainor Dear

We grew up together in the DC area. Took the same school bus to high school. Kept in touch through college, Vietnam and Fed Ex eras. He even tried to get me on that Harley (unsuccessful). Jack was more like a brother to me than a cousin, Love you guy; rest in peace!

Margaret, John and family, my thoughts continue to be with you. I miss my weekend visits to the range with Capt. Trainor and runs to the Waffle House or Pancake shop afterwards. John was a phenomenal shot and an excellent teacher. As a result, I picked up a skill that to this day, I truly enjoy and it was all due to John's coaching, patience and stern looks? "How did you shoot?" I will greatly miss him, but visits to the range will always bring a smile to my face recalling those fun times. God speed John.

While I hadn't seen Jack in many years but he was often in my thoughts. I remember as a kid going to Western Maryland with my Dad and Uncle Ken to watch him play football, and the times we spent together at our homes. He always treated me like a little brother and I'll never forget the great Marine and person he was.
Rest in peace with the Lord Jack Trainor.

My sincere condolences to the family. We were friends through Memphis HOG Club and Rolling Thunder motorcycle club. John was fun to ride with as he always told good stories and had a great since of humor. He will be truly missed.
