John J. Troupe

" Dad, my hero, my teacher, my friend. You set an impossible course in life to follow, as I have fallen short many times, but you were always there with an encouraging word. You taught me so many things and set a work ethic that was hard to match. Many times I am asked, how do you know how to fix that or build that, I tell them I held the flashlight for many years learning how from my Dad. My son also held the flashlight for me, and I hope he passes it on to his son. Just as Jesus is the light so is that beam from the silly flashlight. Dad you may have left the earth but you will never leave my memory of the greatest man i have ever known.

Grampy we will miss you so much. You were always there for your spiffer and your 2 angels. Though it makes us sad i can only picture Grammys face when you walked through the pearly gates to walk the beach together again to collect sand dollars with Grammy. You loved me like a son and I will always love you. Rest In Peace Grampy! Nubble light will always be a very special place where we will remember you and Grammy the most.

May we all walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ as John did all the days of our lives.

So happy to have been your neighbor for twenty years at Wychwood. Sorry to learn of your passing but pleased we were able to have lunch together last week at the Princeton Station which was one of your and June's favorite places. Now you will be with her again. Rest In Peace.

John was a very good man and very instrumental to the life of CCOL. He was always smiling and laughing. He had a true love of people and it was always a joy to talk to him. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace, John.

John was my friend and any that crossed his path in life was as well. He was the volunteer's volunteer. He cared for and helped all those in need, both with his Church family and his community. His spirit will live on and be an inspiration to all of us forever.

MY GRAMPY...You were one of a kind, everyone that you met became your friend. Your work ethic and love for Boston sports was passed on from my Dad to Me. I will be forever grateful for having you in my life.
Watching the Patriots beat the Chargers out in San Diego was a memory I'll cherish forever. Summers in ME, walking the road up from the trailer you would stop to talk to EVERYONE...It was a place where everyone knew your name. I didn't get it as a little girl. But I began to see that everywhere we went everyone knew your name. I will try my best to spread the KINDNESS, smile, joy, and love you did to all I pass by. I'll miss you my lil' Whippersnapper. Take a walk with Grammy & find those sand dollars. I love you.

While living in Littleton my family and I had the pleasure of knowing John and June. Had many good times with you. Such a kind and loving man. Rest in peace John.

John Troupe set a great example as a father figure for several young men growing up in Littleton. He was very active as an LHS Football Booster Club supporter from the start during the 60's. When I returned for my 50th LHS reunion last October, Lynn and I were very fortunate to be able to spend some special time with John. We will miss him dearly. Rod & Lynn Stanford
