John Veltri Obituary
John was born in Chicago, IL on April 18, 1951. His childhood in Wheaton, IL instilled a lifelong passion for fishing and hunting and he loved to speak about it with anyone who would listen. He is survived by wife Barb. John and Barb first met and bonded over their mutual appreciation for coffee and dancing and they continued to share this throughout their long and happy marriage even bringing their grandkids to join them for dinner and dancing.
He leaves behind his wife; children Christy (Lou) LaFemina, John, Mike (Haley) and Stephen (Stephanie); his adored grandchildren Jacob, Louie, William, Mia, Brooklyn and Audrey and John's sister, Mara (Jim) Myrick, Marsha and brother Mike(Lori).
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Grace Veltri and his brother Joe.
John was a natural leader who took his time, did things right and focused on what mattered the most, his family and some close friends he had. His grandkids were his everything and he will be terribly missed
A celebration of John's life will be held in the spring. Details will be posted at a later date.
