John Walters Obituary
John Robert Walters Sr. 90, of Spokane, Washington returned to his heavenly home on May 14th 2024.
John was born July 19th 1933 in West Virginia & later moved to Arizona where he met the love of his life Barbra, they wed March 10th 1951.
They moved from Arizona to California where their two youngest daughters were born. Later they relocated to Seattle, Washington & raised their 6 children. 1 son: John Jr; and 5 daughters: Karen, Lisa, Donna, Rebecca & Jennifer.
John was a truck driver for many years. He retired in 1995 and later became the local maintenance man for his neighborhood community. John was known for his helping hand, his great sense of humor & for his love of chocolate.
John was preceded in death by his wife Barbra Walters; daughter Rebecca Niles; and son in law’s Michael Niles and Ted Dutcher.
He is survived by his Son John Walters Jr and wife Leona; Karen Whitney and husband Mike, Lisa Runnels and husband Dan, Donna cook and husband Allen, And Jennifer Gillis and husband Greg; 19 grandchildren, lots of great and great-great grandchildren & his dog Teeger.
John will always be remembered as a loving Husband, Father, Dog Dad, Grandfather, & Friend to many. His Stories, Wisdom, his love for chocolate & ice cream.
