John Henry Weber, Jr., (“Jack”) 89, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Yeadon, PA, was carried home to be with his Savior on December 22, 2024.
Born March 11, 1935, in Yeadon, PA, he was a son of the late John and Alma (nee Thum) Weber.
Jack worked as a pipe fitter for Sun Shipbuilding and Drydock Company and later at the Navy Yard. Before retiring at 79 years old, he worked as a plumber for New Castle County Government.
Jack loved raising his rottweilers, weightlifting, and talking with other CB enthusiasts. As an active member of the American Sheepdogs, he was a vocal supporter of our veterans and was strong in his faith in Jesus, sharing the Gospel with everyone he met. Jack was known for his quick, witty sense of humor, kind and giving nature, and loyalty and love for his family.
Jack was the beloved husband of the late Helen Weber; loving father of Lisa M. Esler (Chip), Donna J. Caudell (David), Paula J. Stiles, and Jaclyn A. Gregory; adoring grandfather of Joshua King, Brittany Robinson, Cameron Stiles, Drew Gregory, Ryan Gregory, and Ashlynn Gregory; and proud great-grandfather of Giovanna Lord, Abel King, and Mercy King.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment at Philadelphia Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
