Tom I was very sad to learn from my uncle Jim Leinen of your brother Johns passing! I enjoyed my lively conversations with your brother and always enjoyed watching the political bantering going back-and-forth between he and my father! I used to get so tickled and could imagine them both on a radio podcast sharing their world views with us all. He was a dear friend to my father, for which we were all grateful and that extended to our family. It was a pleasure to know John and I pray as you move forward that God will give you a peace that surpasses our own human understanding! Godspeed John you will be missed!

10/15/24: Tom, i hope this message gets shared with you. This is Jim Leinen, Bob´s brother. I just recently learned that your brother John had passed on after texting him several times and then calling to find his phones disconnected. I am so sorry to learn he is gone from us. We have now both lost our dear brothers and that is a very hard burden to bear. I know how close you two were to each other and will say prayers for you both. I will always fondly remember our Christmas Eve dinners at your house when Bob and I would join you and John to celebrate Christmas. Those were good times and good memories. Your brother was a fine man and human being and he will be dearly missed. I know you will carry on with your life as he would have wanted. Be strong! Jim Leinen
