John Barry Williams

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who was affectionately known as "John Boy." He was a man whose calm spirit, strong work ethic, and love for life left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He is lovingly survived by his children: Bronson Loatman, Jace Williams Sr., Jakole Holden-Bunkley (Raphael), and Jakeya Holden-Thomas. He also leaves behind cherished grandchildren; Malikye Lacey, Jania Thomas, Samya Thomas, Kahleal Williams, Nickya Williams, Jace Williams Jr., and Isabella Marie who will continue to carry his legacy forward. He is survived by his brother, Howard Williams. He is now reunited in rest with his mother, Esther Williams; his father Oliver Williams Sr. and with his brothers Alvin Williams, and Oliver Williams Jr. along with many loved ones. He also leaves behind a long-time companion, along with a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

He was a proud graduate of Cumberland Regional High School and spent his life as a hardworking man who took pride in everything he did. He had a deep love for working on muscle cars, driving long-haul trucks, traveling, and sharing laughter through his storytelling. He will be remembered as a man of strength, humor, and quiet peace-someone who truly loved life and the people in it.

Though he is gone from our sight, he will forever remain in our hearts.
