John Henry Williams, 81, of Neeses, SC passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2026 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Henry Chavis officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 150 Hi Cotton Ln., Springfield, SC 29146. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Brian and Jaclyn Bell for helping to look after Mr. Williams and for being such good friends.

Born in Orangeburg County, SC, he was a son of the late Frank Williams and Bertha Robinson Williams and was married to the late Edna Mae Jackson Williams. He attended Mission of Hope Church in Norway and retired from Maytag after working 44 years including working at Chill-Chest, Rheem and Dixie-Narco. He loved deer hunting, running deer dogs, and farming. He especially loved farming watermelons and working with tractors. He enjoyed his family and friends and was quite the character who always loved a good laugh and a good time. You could also find him boiling peanuts to share with his family and friends.

Survivors include his son, Johnny (Diane) Williams of Lexington, SC; his grandchildren, Cole Anz, Jonathan Ryan Williams, and Ashley Nichole Williams; great grandchildren, Audrey Grace and Melany Mendoza; a sister, Annette (David) Felkel of Elloree, SC; a brother, Charles Williams of Gaston, SC along with a number of nieces and nephews.
