John, and the entire family, were the best neighbors I have ever had. Sorry to hear about Johns passing. The family were always great to talk to. A great family to be around.

The summer of 1959 John took his boat to Lake Freeman where he had rented a cottage for a week. I and 3 or 4 others spent the week learning to water ski. We were in a GWHS club (Counts) and John was our friend. It is a sad time to learn of his passing. I am sure there were other times that we shared with John, but that summer was the most memorable.
