John Eugene Wilson, 58, husband of Tammy McDaniel Wilson, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025, at his home on Beauford Place, Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born in Fairfield, Ohio, to Betty Daniels Elliott and the late Johnny Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Tammy; sons, John Kevin Wilson and Clayton Scott Perkins; daughters, Haley Michelle Wilson and Carla Ann Wilson (Sam); brothers, Jerry Giles (Kathy) and Anthony Giles (Allison); sister, Regina Austin (Jason); special friend and brother, Timmy Proffitt; granddaughter, Brylee Ruthann Wilson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Services will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday, June 20, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Puckett officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, where bearers will be Timmy Proffitt, Brian Proffitt, Tyler Proffitt, Sam Wilson, Timmy Brown, and John K. Wilson. Serving as honorary bearers will be Jerry and Anthony Giles. Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM until the time of service, Friday, at the funeral home.
