A true Soldier's Soldier. CSM Winterbaur wisdom, devotion, humility, selfless service was an inspiration to this young Soldier many years ago. To John's family, my most sincere condolences. To fellow members of the 233d Military Police Company, in John's own words, " Watch out for the gopher holes". To John, I remembered to feed them and pay them.

Nancy, So sorry to hear of John's passing. He was truly a gentleman in all he did. I have many great memories of John while serving with him in the Guard and his time at the Dept of Agriculture. I am sure you and his family will miss him.
