John D. Wisniewski Jr.

John David Wisniewski Jr., 83, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, at UPMC East, Monroeville. He was born April 16, 1938, in Braddock, a son of the late John and Verna Wisniewski. Prior to his retirement, John was a millwright and built generators for Westinghouse Electric. He was a veteran of the Army, a member of St. Agnes Parish, enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved taking trips to the casinos and especially liked spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bernie, Thomas and Robert; and sisters, Sissy Wisniewski and Lucille Martchak. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Everett) Wisniewski; sons, David M. and John T.; daughter, Theresa L. Wisniewski; grandchildren, Emily Marie, John Thomas Jr. and Abby Rose; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Agnes Church.
