John A. Wright

John and I were buddies in high school. We had a band, a power rock trio that rehearsed in my attic. He was a great guy and a rocking' guitarist. Though it was 50+ years ago, I remember him well and it was a blessing to know him.

I´m saddened by the passing of John. He was a great person, friend and athlete. It was my extreme pleasure to be his teammate on the Lynbrook football and baseball teams. John was gifted in many ways but what I will miss the most is his wonderful laugh. RIP John

John was a wonderful friend and athlete. I saw him pitch baseball and play Football. John had a cool confidence in ever situation. I saw John pitch in the All Star game against Suffolk county . John now joins his catchers Patrick Brandine John Torrello. John also joins in Heaven his co pitcher Billy Donnelly. John was a Cool Guy. He will be missed.

John, thanks for your friendship, thanks for your music and thanks for your support of the softball team where your daughter Leanne was an important part of several of our championship teams at ERHS. Now you have the best seats in the house!
