Janice - My heart breaks for you since hearing about your loss of John. Of course I havent been around since David and I divorced decades ago- but David keeps me in the loop because I always loved his family. I remember when John was young and how he was always the love of both - your and Sylvesters life. He was and is your number one and you were always there encouraging, teaching, supporting and pushing him gently to attain success. I am praying for strength and peace for you all.

I have not interacted with John since we graduated from Brookwood High School in 1990 (35 years ago!). I am very sorry to hear of his passing and will have his family in my prayers for peace. I do remember that John was always a bright light to be around and always had a good attitude - which is saying something for a high school kid. I know he likely made the lives of many, better. I think it is rare that you remember someone you have not spoken to or interacted with so vividly after 35 years and that is likely because he was rare and stood out in a great way. Sorry for your loss.

Dear family and friends of John Wright. My name is John Colegrove and I had the honor and privilege of knowing John Wright during our years at UGA. John and I both played trombone, so we saw a lot of each other every day, including UGA Trombone Choir and UGA Redcoat Band. One funny memory I had of John was that when we would open our cases to get out our trombones, I always noticed his picture of Ronald Reagan! In any event, I would be honored to talk with any friends and family of John´s to share wonderful memories. Please feel free to text me on my cell: 404-932-0109. John Wright: I know that you are with our Savior now. Enjoy eternity and know that you we remember you fondly.

First of all to the family, I am so sorry for such a great loss.
JW,
You will be missed my friend. We met at a hard place in our lives and helped each other and through it became great friends. I wish I could have helped more. Your heartbreak is gone and Jesus is now your peace.
Thank you for loving Brittany, Ava, and myself!
See you soon buddy!

Condolences to John's family. I've know John for nearly 30 years, having worked together at various points in our career. John was very smart and very funny. A true friend and someone who I always enjoyed spending time with and bantering back and forth about a variety of topics, from real estate to college football and politics. I hope JW can now find peace. He was a treasure to his family and friends and will be truly missed by so many. Rest in peace my friend.
