John T Wright

John Thomas Wright (Johnny, Wrighty, Tommy), beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and godfather, passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2022. John leaves behind his wife Lisa, son Maxwell, daughter Samantha, mother Ruthann, father Hugh (predeceased), sisters Susan and Linda and her husband John, brother-in-laws Jack, David, Steven, sister-in-law Colleen, nieces and nephews Shannon, Steven, Melissa, Joseph, his godson John, Justin, great nephew Jennings, godson Hanley, and surrogate brother John "Guido" Glowka.
John grew up in Rockland and graduated from Rockland High School in 1982. He took great pride in his job in the maintenance department at the Town of Hanover. In his spare time, he loved to fish in redfish tournaments with his brother-in-law Kozy, liked to golf, was a life-long avid reader, loved to cook, loved music and going to concerts, and was a gamer since the 60's. He had a large circle of friends who he was always there for and who will all miss him deeply.
The family welcomes friends and loved ones to say goodbye to John on November 30, 2022 at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street, Rockland, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 30 from 3:00-6:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at the VFW hall, 22 Church Street, Rockland, MA from 6:00-9:00 PM.
