John Wright Obituary
John was a United States Navy Veteran Fireman First class. He married the former Mary E. Maynard on Sept.12 1948.
Mr. Wright was a maintenance worker for 20 years at Jiminy Peak. He also had been employed for 30 years at General Cable in Williamstown
He enjoyed golf, wood turning, bottle collecting and socializing.
Mr. Wright is survived by his sons, Timothy J. Wright and wife Gail of Hancock, Frederick W. Wright of
Tigard OR, and John H. Wright and wife Patti of Stephentown, NY. His sister, Dorothy Hansen and husband Howard of FL. and a brother Joseph Benkovich of Dormont, PA. He had ten grandchildren as well as many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Mary E. Wright and a son, Steven R. Wright. Per his wishes there will be no services.
Donations can be made to the Hancock Volunteer Fire Dept. in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield.
