John Wright Obituary
John Marvin Wright was born October 27, 1960 to Wayne and Cecelia (Malinowski) Wright at Tachikawa Air Base, Tachikawa, Tokyo, Japan. The family returned to the U.S. in December 1960. He was a graduate of Brenham High School. Here he played on the tennis team. John received a degree from Texas A&M University. He was employed by Nutrabolt. Nutrabolt has generously donated $10,000.00 to the Costal Conservation Association.
John enjoyed fishing, playing video games and playing cards with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving family includes: mother Cecelia Wright; brother Cecil Wright and wife Lee Ann; nieces and nephews Jennifer DeChant, Jeremy Wright, Ray Gibbs III, Daniel Gibbs, Jason Gibbs; great nieces and nephews Andy Gibbs, Jenna DeChant and Jada DeChant.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 9th with family present 5:00- 7:30 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 10th at 10 a.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jeremy Wright, Daniel Gibbs, Andy Gibbs, Jason Derrick, Eric Rubach and Beau Hinze.
