John Wright

Greetings family and friends. With grateful hearts we take solace in knowing that on September 15, 2024, John Wright, as resident of Warrensville Heights, Ohio, transcended peacefully in his home to be with our Heavenly Father. His legacy lives on, as he was an excellent and devoted father, brother, grandfather and friend to many.
John, one of six siblings born to hardworking parents Ralph and Ruby Wright, was born on April 10, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio. A faithful servant of the Lord, John was baptized at Fidelity Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio at the age of 12.
John attended and graduated from Shaw High School in East Cleveland, he also attended Max Hayes Trade School and studied at Cuyahoga Community College to further his education and skills. John worked for many years and retired from the Lubrizol Corporation in Wickliffe, OH.
He leaves to mourn his children, Johnetta Harris, Franklin Wright, and Jennifer Wright; daughter-in-law, Shavone Wright; seven grandchildren; four siblings, Sandra Brown, Laura Swanson, Karen Wright, and Ralph Wright Jr.; his best friend Alford Howl a.k.a. Al; his partner and caregiver of 20 years, Michelle Crawford and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents Ralph and Ruby Wright, John was preceded in death by his sister, Sharese Olatoye.
