Bountiful, UT-John Othmar Wuthrich, 94, returned to his Heavenly Father November 30, 2022. He was born in Ostermundigen, Bern, Switzerland on November 15, 1928 to Fritz Wuthrich and Martha Balmer Wuthrich. He immigrated to the United States in 1930. He married Mary Elizabeth Sarris on July 21, 1947. He loved to be outdoors and was an avid gardener. He was a seeker of knowledge and had great wisdom. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as ward membership clerk for many years knowing the name of each ward member. His career was in the Utah Air National Guard where he attained the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He is survived by his children: John F Wuthrich (Kathy), Kathy Wardrop (Bob), Janice Bird (Tom- deceased), Holly Wall (David), 27 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and one sister, Rosemarie Child (Gary). He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, his son, Michael David Wuthrich, three sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Orchard 2nd Ward Chapel, 3707 S. 800 W., Bountiful. Friends and family may call Sunday evening at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful from 6-8 p.m. and Monday morning 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
