John Wynsma

Wynsma, John Grand Rapids, MI John J. Wynsma, age 96, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. John proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Ida; a special friend, Mary Schultz; and a great-grandson, Dylan Wynsma. Lovingly remembering John are his children, Tom (Kay) Wynsma, Randy (Julie) Wynsma, Mark (Judy) Wynsma, Barb (John) Murray; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Esther Wynsma, Carrie Edson, Catherine Edson. The family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday, October 15, from 11 AM to 12 Noon at Unity Reformed Church. The funeral service will be held at 12 Noon, October 15, at Unity Reformed Church, 4450 Poinsettia Ave SE, Kentwood, MI, 49508, with Rev. Wayne Otten, officiating. Interment will be in Blain Cemetery. Memorial contributions in honor of John may be made to Kindred Hospice.
