John Daniel "Z" Zedrow

Danny was very popular at Naperville Community High School back in 1964-1967. He was a successful student and athlete, and a ranking member of the "in crowd". As such, Danny and I never interacted in high school, for I was a rock band nerd, and not on too many friend lists. It wasn´t until I went to the University of Illinois and encountered him in class situations that his friendliness and positivity became apparent. Personal highs and lows hit me very hard in 1971, but Danny was always a bright spot. It is sad to think of him gone, as we are pretty much the same age. My condolences to his family.
