I had the honor of being his assistant in the late 90s at a comedy club in Battle Creek. Funny enough I was there with friend of mine celebrating his birthday. I even tried telling him that it was his birthday, but once The Amazing Johnathan picked you, you were in. I'm so glad I was able to participate. I still look back on that evening like it was yesterday. Thank you for all the laughs and a story and night that I will never forget!

I am so sorry about the loss of Johnathan. He was hilarious and will never be forgotten! The Szeles family has my deepest condolences. As the days, weeks and months pass during this difficult time, may you continue to be surrounded and comforted with the love and support that is needed, by fond memories, and by knowing that he is safe in the memory of Almighty God.

Since I was a very young child I’ve always enjoyed your magical comedy- one of my favorites of all time- wish they’d play the old comedy central’s spots. Love you- rest in laughs

I've watched The Amazing Johnathan for yrs always put a smile and laugh no matter how bad life through at me . My deepest condolences to Johnathans family , one of the greatest stand up comedy magicians around . Johnathan will be deeply missed. God will have Johnathan be his side for ever for a great laugh . The Amazing Johnathan used to crack me up every time I saw his unique act on TV....What a truly gifted and amazing talent, and what a wonderfully amazing legacy he has left us! My condolences to the family, friends, and fellow fans of Johnathan Szeles at this sad and difficult time.

Although I never met you or saw you live, I have decades of memories watching you on tv and on-line. No matter how many times I saw the act, it never got old. The world just got a lot darker, but hopefully your legacy can make it a bit brighter. Rest in peace sir....
