Joseph Nathan Wright also affectionately known as Johnathan Wright, was born August 21, 1935, to the late Pollard Wright and Daisy Russell, in Coatopa, Alabama. He was the oldest of seven siblings, which includes five boys and two girls. Joe Nathan lived with his grandmother Zula in some of his younger years in the state of Alabama.
Later on in life, around the age of twelve, Joe Nathan traveled north by train to go live with his mother in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Glenville High School where he graduated with honors on the 18th of June 1954. After graduation, Joe Nathan was a very ambitious man that found himself working in a bleach factory. Shortly after working there Joe was presented the opportunity to take over ownership making himself a young, successful, entrepreneur. He developed a love for travel and often talked about taking day trips by flight just to enjoy breakfast in a different city and return home by dinner time.
John carried a strong passion for his Cleveland Browns football team and his beloved Freelancers MC, where he was a founding member and President. To many he was known as "Touchdown" but to most he was known to have a big heart, a passion for life, a contagious laugh and an abundant love for his family because "that's how we do it!".
John is survived by his beloved wife of twenty four years; Francine (Mellow), nineteen children; Deborah, Phenomenal, Patricia, Ernest, Daisy, Johnathon, David, Traci, Mark, Curtis, Latisha, Winston, Portay (Will), Felicia, Jovita, Antonio (Jodi), ShaRhonda, Desireé, and Dartanian, Siblings Jesse Sr. (Shirley) Deloris Finch and sister Denise Stokes with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, whom he loved so dearly.
He was preceded in death by his four children; Derek, Richard, Joseph and Maurice, brothers; John Sr., Wilbur Sr., Earnest Sr.
