Johnetta "Johnnye" Louvenia Williams (nèe Rose), 80, of Casper, WY went to be with the Lord on November 27th. Johnetta was born in Middlesboro, KY to John Carl and Louvenia Fischer Rose on December 28th, 1944. She attended Powell High School and graduated in 1962. She went on to earn a nursing degree from All Saints Episcopal Hospital School of Vocational Nursing in 1966. She worked as a nurse in various areas for over 40 years, which brought her so much joy. She also enjoyed dancing and traveling, choosing to live a more quiet life with family and friends after her retirement.
Johnetta is survived by her daughter Kendra Williams of Pensacola, FL; her brother John Carl Rose Jr (Shari) of Newnan, GA; her sister Martha McCracken of Knoxville, TN; her brother in law Jim Herzfeld of Casper, WY; and several nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved very much. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Carl and Louvenia, as well as her sister Carolyn Herzfeld.
Memorial donations may be made to the National Association of Pro-Life Nurses, 169 Sea Ward Ave, Cameron, LA 70631. The family also wishes to extend their gratitude to Johnetta's friend and caretaker Jody Elkins for her kindness and support in Johnetta's final months.
Life is beautiful, remember to cherish each and every moment.
