Johnna Braswell Obituary

Johnna is survived by her Son, Chris Kirk and wife Emily of O'Fallon, IL; two granddaughters, Kenzie Kirk and Delaney Kirk; grandson, Liam Kirk; and her beloved poodle, Bailee.
Johnna was preceded in death by her parents.
Johnna co-founded Operation Love which took in local food donations and prepped and delivered hundreds of holiday meals for many years for those in the Mt. Vernon area that needed them. She also was a former Ladies of the Elks President and all around volunteer for Elks events.
Her hobbies included traveling on tours with her friends, watching sports on TV,online shopping, doing word puzzles, and keeping up with her three grandkids' school and activities - especially watching all three in the O'Fallon marching band.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Mt. Vernon Elks Lodge on January 3, 2026.
