HAWKINS, Mr. Johnnie "Johnnie Lee" - Age 89, passed away Friday, February 13, 2026 at Trinity Health Oakland. Family hour 1:30PM Saturday, February 28, 2026 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, with funeral service commencing immediately at 2:00PM. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30PM Saturday. Mr. Hawkins will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 8:00am-2:00pm Saturday.

Mr. Hawkins leaves to cherish his memory: children, Linda O'Conner, Irma Chambers, Kenneth Hawkins, Johnnie Ealy, Jaisen (Chamia Turner) Hawkins and Carla Barnes; stepchildren, Patrick Ealy, Monica (Keith) Ealy-Tassin and Lavaita Robinson; host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Beverly Ann Morgan; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Hawkins was preceded in death by his wife, Jessica Hawkins; son, Kevin Hawkins; step children, Bridgetta Ealy and Hudson Ealy; granddaughter, Ashantee Ealy; parents, Charlie Hawkins and Lubertha Williams; brother, Alvin Morgan; son-in-law, Wadell Chambers.
