Johnnie N. Moore, 84, of Lexington, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 23, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be directed to the family for a charity to be chosen at a later time and can be left in care of the funeral home. Johnnie Nadine Moore was born on March 24, 1938, in New Franklin, Missouri to Oliver and Bessie (Skinner) Craycraft. She grew up in Blackwater, Missouri and graduated from Nelson High School in 1957. While working at the shoe factory she met Orville Moore and they were married on May 25, 1957, in Marshall, Missouri. Johnnie held many different jobs in life, but none was more important than providing a loving home to her family. Orville preceded her in death on November 30, 2010. In addition to spending time with her family and friends Johnnie enjoyed going to auctions, collecting antiques, guns, knives, collecting Rebel memorabilia, shopping, and fishing with her husband.
Johnnie is survived by her children, Randy Moore of Lexington, Debbie Stapleton and husband John of Odessa and Tammy Alexander and husband James of Warsaw, Missouri; grandchildren, Christopher Meierer, Jason Moore, Amy Hopkins (Cody), Brandon Moore, Tabatha Jeffries (Josh Kimlin), David Jeffries (Laura Cunningham), Tarrin Jeffries (Corey Allen), Nathan Moore, Derrick Jeffries (Katie Degraffenried) and Matthew Moore, three step-grandchildren, Seth (Karly) Alexander, Ciara (Austin) Singleton, Braden Alexander; and 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Virginia Darlene Smith of Price, Utah and Linda Sue Volden of Sedalia, Missouri.
Johnnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orville Moore; her sister, Dorothy Doyle and brothers, Robert Craycraft, Glen Craycraft and Franklin Craycraft.
