Johnnie Robinson

Mr. Johnnie Boyce Robinson, of Temple, GA, entered his Heavenly Home Sunday, November 9, 2025 at the age of 89. He passed peacefully in the comfort of his home, just as he wished. He was born November 20, 1935 in Buncombe, GA to the late John Dearyl and Mildred B. Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Ella Robinson; maternal grandparents, Dave and Lucinda Robinson; sisters, Violet Grizzard, Joyce Ivester, and Mary Sue and E W Green, Jr.; and brother and sister in law, Billy and Benita Robinson.
Johnnie was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a devoted American. He was deeply passionate about his country and an enthusiastic supporter of the Democratic Party. A man of strong faith, Johnnie was a Christian and a member of the Church of Christ. He was also a faithful member of AA for over 45 years, a commitment he credited with saving his life and strengthening his faith. Through his involvement, he inspired and supported countless others on their own journeys to recovery.
Throughout his life, he worked hard in many roles-from farming and selling vacuums door to door in his younger years to building a long career at General Motors, where he retired after more than 35 years of service as an inspector.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, Randal and Gina Robinson, of Citronelle, AL and Sharon and Gary Craft, of Childersburg, AL; grandchildren and their spouses, Tim and Katie Queen, Chad and Allison Robinson, Brad and Ashley Robinson, Randy Robinson, Andrew Robinson, Hope Robinson, Scott and Joni Craft, Matt and Kristina Craft, and Josh Fisher; nine great grandchildren; brothers and sisters in law, Jimmy and Linda Robinson, of Muscadine, AL and Larry and Joan Robinson, of Ranburne, AL; and brother in law, John Ivester.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 1:30PM in the Miller Funeral Home Dogwood Chapel with Rev. Darryl Robinson officiating. A eulogy will be given by his caregiver, Gina Arnold. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Tim Queen, Chad Robinson, Brad Robinson, Josh Fisher, Randy Robinson, and Andrew Robinson. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the chapel on Sunday, November 16th, beginning at 1:00PM.
