Johnnie will be missed by his wife of over 64 years Ida Smiley Sheppard; his daughters: Vallet Hymes (Leroy), Vellet Dogan(Robert), Bonnie Jones (Larry) and Tamiko Hendrickson; 21 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and many other loving relatives and close friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM - Monday November10, 2025 in the Childs Funeral Home Chapel.
Family members are at their respective homes.
