Johnny Daniel Faith, age 84, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Wednesday morning, September 11th, at his home. Johnny was born January 2, 1941, in Dalton, Georgia. He was a 1960 graduate of Valley Point High School and worked many years in the carpet industry, eventually retiring from his business, John Faith Carpets.
Johnny's greatest joys in life were working on his farm and spending time with his family. There are no words to express how much he meant to his family and friends. He was loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Faith.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Scott and Jodie Brantley Faith; daughters and sons-in-law, Melanie Ann and Scott Erwin, Heather Leah and Jeff Bramblett; grandchildren, Hayley Kathryn Faith Long (James), Brantley Lauren Faith Ketschke (Max), Hayden Daniel Faith (Jordan), John Warren Erwin (Becca), Mary Faith Erwin Gregory (Jonathan), William Scott Erwin, Wyatt David Erwin (fiancée, Alison), Anna Joy Bramblett (fiancée, Drew), Benjamin Thomas Bramblett, Ellie Hope Bramblett; great grandchildren, Katherine Ann Erwin, Ella Grace Gregory, Waylon Erwin, Lynnleigh Erwin, Parker Long, and Anderson Long; sister, Myrtie Collins; sister and brother-in-law, Ida Nell and Lamar Jenkins; sisters-in-law, Delores Tidwell and Mary Lynn Padgett (Howard); brother-in-law, Bob Frazier (Inez), and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Johnny Daniel Faith will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 14th, at Love Funeral Home with Reverend Brett Yaeger, Dr. Scott Faith, and Reverend Jeff Bramblett officiating.
He will be laid to rest at the Redwine Cove Cemetery.
Hayden Faith, John Erwin, Wyatt Erwin, Will Erwin, Ben Bramblett, Jon Gregory, James Long, and Max Ketschke will serve as pallbearers. Rodney Rowe will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
The family will receive friends before the services at Love Funeral Home from 1:00-3:00.
Memorial donations may be sent to the Redwine Cove Cemetery Fund at 1103 Redwine Cove Road, Dalton GA 30720.
