Lifelong Metairie man who never let rules spoil his fun. Preceded by his folks Johnny and Frances, sisters Patsy and Linda, and niece Charlotte. He is survived by two children, Anthony (Stephanie) Joseph, Nico Vincent, and three grandchildren, Dominic "Dom" Michael, Isabella "Bella Lagosi" Marie, Josephine "Jo-Jo" Rose. Leaves behind nieces and nephews Frank, Herbie, Brenda, Judy and Arthur.

Married his eighteen-year-old sweetheart Susan E. Figaro-divorced on paper, never in spirit, and remained a member of the Edmonson clan till the end. Playground ball hawk, Catholic-school dropout, accidental founder of Lafreniere Park after that Halloween fire at Jefferson Downs. Worked grain barges with the Murphy brothers and longtime friend Eddie Bankston, parked cars like a boss with his sons. Never had a job he loved but did whatever paid and let him laugh. Raised his 2 sons with iron rules and open arms. If you were in his circle, you were family. And if you crossed that line, well… let's just say he kept the shovels ready. Holidays were sacred; the Saints were sacred; fishing was sacred; saying let Jesse rob the train was sacred. Died quiet, asleep, after one last Christmas and New Year.

Relatives and friends, visitation is at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. New Orleans, followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Bring stories-he'd want the loud ones.
