Johnny Fraga

Johnny Fraga, age 71, of Temple, TX passed from this life surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital. Johnny was born on May 12, 1954, in Temple to his father Thomas Fraga.
Johnny has been a resident of Temple his whole life, where he attended Temple High School in his younger years. Also growing up, Johnny was raised in the Catholic ministries, attending Our Lady of Guadalupe. Into Johnny's adult life he would meet the love of his life, Herminia Arguellez and the two would marry at their home on May 6, 1972. The couple would spend many wonderful years together loving each other unconditionally and blessing this world with two daughters and one son. Family was everything to Johnny and he would do anything for them. Johnny would go on to work for Mihatsch Cabinets for many years as a cabinet builder. He was an exceptional carpenter and took great pride in the work he did. In his free time, Johnny loved watching the Dallas Cowboys while drinking his favorite beverage Miller High Life. Johnny's hard work, dedication, and love for his family will be everlasting memories for generations to come. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father Thomas Fraga, one brother, and one sister.
Johnny leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Herminia Fraga of Temple, daughter Valerie Rangel and husband Pete of Temple, Johnny Fraga and wife Taryne of Hunt, daughter Amanda Fraga of Temple, sisters Norma and Tina both of San Antonio, as well as six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 11 o'clock a.m. with Pastor Chris Guillen officiating.
