Rev. Johnny Steven Hall

To John Hall´s Family,

You have my deepest sympathy for the passing of your family member, my friend and fraternity Brother Rev. John S. Hall. He and I go back to grade school at Sacred Heart School almost 65 years ago. We both went off to college after high school (he to University Arkansas Pine Bluff and me to University of Cincinnati). We both surprised each other that we had become members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. We kept in touch and got together whenever we were both back to Flint to visit family. Life got busy after graduating college, we both moved around and loss touch with each other. But I count it a true blessing that we reconnected in 2024 and especially knowing he was a man of God. We continued to call each other and I gave him a couple of our grade school friends phone numbers so they could reconnect. He, one of those friends and I got together for the last time for lunch back in late August of 2025. I knew he had some health issues and I believe God said it was time for him to go to his heavenly home. No more pain, no more cane, no more surgeries. I will truly miss our calls and visits.

I meant this man about 4 years ago he was my boss at the salvation army and a great boss he was we became great friends and remained great friends you was the best John I'm going to miss you so much.
