Johnny Moore Hodges Jr., 63, of Fayetteville passed away Monday, August 26, 2024 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Johnny was born in Cumberland County on December 17, 1960 to Johnny Moore Hodges Sr. and Peggy Sheppard Hodges. Johnny worked in Cart Maintenance and service with Cypress Lakes Golf Course and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Moore Hodges Sr. and a sister, Jo Ann Hodges.
Johnny is survived by his son, Christopher Hodges of Holden Beach, NC; his mother, Peggy Sheppard Hodges of Fayetteville; a brother, Larry F. Hodges of Rocky Mount, NC; a sister, Phoebe H. Smith of Hope Mills, NC; 2 grandchildren, Damien Hodges, Arya Hodges and a host of extended family members.
Graveside Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, August 29, 2024 at LaFayette Memorial Park, 2301 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301.
In Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be made to Cape Fear Valley Hospice & Palliative Care, 2301 Robeson Street, Fayetteville, NC 28305.
