Johnny R. Rowlett, age 73, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a member of the Woodsonville Baptist Church where he was active in the Woodsonville Brotherhood and the Program Committee. He was a Marine Corp. Veteran, a retired brick mason. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.
He is the son of the late George Rowlett and the late Mattie Maxey Rowlett.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Rowlett; two brothers, Charles and Mitchell Rowlett; five sisters, Georgia Rowlett and Darlene Rowlett, Addie Ford, Lillian Rowlett, and Janice Curry.
He is survived by three children, L'Tanya Howard "KeKe", Bowling Green, KY, McQuinn Hodges, Cave City, KY, and Shawn Torrey Hodges, Bowling Green, KY; seven grandchildren, Desire', Sebastian, Savyon, Andrea, Bethany, Lexi, Maci; five great-grandchildren, Ky'ree, Nalah, Sky'y, Zyaire, Navi'e; two brothers, James Rowlett (Mary), and Ned Rowlett; one sister, Stella Jones.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM CT on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Woodsonville Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM CT on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Woodsonville Baptist Church Rev. W. K. Rowlett and Rev. Horace Graham officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodsonville Memorial Gardens.
