Johnny Session, Sr. Tallahassee - Johnny Frank Session, Sr., 74, of Tallahassee passed on Monday, May 29, 2023. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. CST Saturday, June 10, at New Bethel M.B. Church, Panama City, FL, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Viewing is Thursday 4-6 p.m. at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950) and Saturday 9-11 a.m. at the Church. A Panama City native and a 1967 graduate of Rosenwald High, Johnny graduated from Gulf Coast Community College before enrolling at FAMU. He earned his Accounting degree and served 20+ years with the City of Tallahassee. Johnny was a devout FAMU Rattler. Survivors include his wife, Linda Tibbs Session; daughter, Tomeka (Gary) Truesdell; sons; Johnny (Tonya) Session, Jr. & Marcus (Jillian) Session; three grandchildren; siblings: Rickey, Ray (Aricka), Jack, Jerome (Dawn), Grayson, Roderick & Derrick (Anna Maria) Session, Anita Green, Jerry Ann (Joseph) Norton, Delphine & Ilene (Dennis) Lane, Jannie Mae Shivers, Barbara (Issac) Evans, Jewel (Gregory) Gross & Mattie McCovy; and a host of other relatives and friends.
