Johnny Stavely

Johnny was my roommate during the first semester of our 2nd class (junior) year at the Academy. He had a great sense of humor, and surprisingly enough, we both made it through that semester. I appreciate it, big guy, and here's a toast to the host! Esse, Chazz Hammond

Johnny took me to his home on the prairie of Colorado. I met his grandma who told me she still missed Ohio where she married and came with his grandfather to Colorado. She said she still missed the rolling hills of Ohio. I mentioned that she at least could drive an hour and see the Rocky Mountains. She told me so she had been told.
Johnny was from a loving and close family and he lived his Life on the same level of family first but country close behind.
